This image was taken at the Asa Wright Conservation Centre in the rainforests of Northern Trinidad. Trinidad and Tobago contain some of the most beautiful birdlife in the world including an incredible range of hummingbirds. The White Necked Jacobin was one of my favourites and I spent every spare hour of my time off (I was working for 14 months on the islands) photographing them and the other species at the Asa Wright Centre and a few other locations on the islands.
