I have seen and photographed this gentleman many times before,but never when he and his pet dog are asleep. I stood and looked at them for quite a while and for the first time , I wondered what his story was.What was his name? the dog's name?How did they end up like this? The more I observed them ,the sadder I got. I put some money in his hat and left them alone. For even at the entrance to a busy railway station on a busy street-they were alone.
