Artist's Description
I've always loved the view up the stairs at the right - the stairway comprises 37 steps, 4 intermediate landings and 3 right-angle turns on the way to the main level, above. While I'd previously focused on the elegant spiral railing as a subject, I wanted to capture the railing and its shadow on the floor, in a wider presentation of the space, using a multi-row stitched panorama.
