Artist's Description

This picture is part of a series called "Des ombres sur les épaules de géants" (Shadows on the shoulders of giants) presenting the relation between men, simple vagabonds in the ephemeral passage, and the mountain, permanent, timeless. Before their finitude, these men seek to seize a part of the eternity of these places. They are explorers.
The opposition of these two extremes is reflected in the contrast of black and white while the link that unites them is highlighted by the graphics
