Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
A classical view of the south side of the Tre Cime on an October's morning. I arrived with two friends early in the morning in the fog, positioned my camera and hoped for a glimpse of the famous reflection in the lake. When the Tre Cime started to appear, cars stopped and dozen photographers joined us on the shore. I used a flash for the foreground and I think it made a difference.
