Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I was early this morning in the place selected previous days. When arrived only was present the famous Patagonia wind, huge bursts of wind and grey clouds too. I was disappointed, the minutes were advancing and nothing ... only wind and grey ... but suddenly ... a little bit of light then more and more and more ... It lasted very few seconds until the strong light filled it all. I was speechless and very happy for I what experienced and for having persevered in that waiting.
