Morro Rock is California State Registered Historic Landmark, it was a long -extinct vocanous and also was important navigational aid for mariners,because the rock is 576 feet tall which made it the most visible in a chain of 9 peaks. In Spanish "Morro" means crown shaped hill. In the early morning I was attracted by the clouds in the sky. I waited till sunrise, the clouds were lit up by a beam of sunlight. It's beautiful !
