Artist's Description

Captured at the shores of Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon (aka the diamond beach) on the South coast of Iceland in March 2019. That evening the volcanic black sand beach was full of large icebergs that have been washed up on the shore of the glacier lagoon. The winds and waves were too strong to approach the shoreline, so I came up with this rather unusual composition, with small pieces of glacial icebergs surfing between bigger ones.
