Artist's Description

This picture was taken on a misty October morning, at Marsh Creek lake in Exton, Pennsylvania. There was a thick layer of mist on the lake. I noticed there was a great blue heron standing still on a rock in water not far away from the shore. I walked close to the bird. To my surprise, the heron stand still in the morning mist. With a fishing boat slowly move in, this scene of coexistence became very harmonic.
