The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Busy pedestrians blur through a vibrant street scene at night, captured in a long exposure that creates ghostly trails of their movements. Illuminated shop signs, including one for Guinness, punctuate the scene, while a few individuals, who are less blurred than others, appear to be standing still, creating a stark contrast with the surrounding motion. The wet pavement reflects the lights and colors of the environments, adding an additional layer of texture to the photograph.
