The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I had a great time at White Mountain last week tracking down the illusive Bristlecone Pine tree. A buddy and I spent about 7 hours reconning different areas, some long hikes some short but in either case the air at 11000’+ is so thin it took its toll on us. It was take 50 steps and rest, over and over. Thank God for my Olympic level fitness or it may have been 40 steps and rest.
