These two units are capable of producing 2336 MW of electricity for northern Illinois including the city of Chicago; enough for approximately 2 million average American homes. Photographed on Sept 12, 2011 during the peak of the midwest harvest moon, this station sits in the middle of a couple of thousand acres of farmland.
