this is the close-up photo of a Protula Tubularia, a marine worm that has this white branchial tuft. Normally it lives in ravines and caves, and lets its tuft wobble with the movement of the waves. The peculiarity of this photo was to freez the moment in which the whole tuft is combed and takes on a heart shape. a grazing illumination gave the black background and highlighted the crown of the tentacles increasing the perception of the heart shape. The cromatic and formal effect is of impact.
