Mount Damavand, a potentially active volcano, is a stratovolcano which is the highest peak in Iran and the highest volcano in Asia. ( 5609 m)
Damavand last erupted about 7,300 years ago. There are no historical eruptions, but fumaroles at the summit crater suggest that the volcano is still active.
This shot was taken at a beautiful sunset last month while seems the mount Damavand has been surprisingly embraced by clouds at the top and reflection below.
