Denver International Airport is the 1st largest airport in North America and 2nd in the world. The white peaked fabric roof designed by Fentress Bradburn Architects resembles snow-capped Rocky Mountains and also evokes the early history of Colorado when Native American teepees were located across the Great Plains. The highest mountain in the background is Longs Peak which is one of most famous 14ers in Colorado.
