This little scene is photographed as it was. I altered nothing. Well, I did change the rectangle format of the photo to a square. That's all. It is a tribute to the Dutch painter Piet Mondriaan, who I admire greatly. Of course Mondriaan is completely abstract. I might call this photo abstract realism.
The photo is taken at the Rotterdam river island Heijplaat, where the some of the buildings of the shipbuilders docks have been turned into the classrooms of a professional university.
