A terraced landscape is densely packed with multi-story earthen dwellings, each featuring thatched roofs and some with blue doors and window frames. Wooden beams and sticks protrude from beneath the balconies and the roofs are covered with green vegetation, perhaps as insulation or for farming. The overall structure creates a textured, cohesive village built into a hillside, indicative of indigenous architectural and community planning.
