I was taking a walk along the man made island of Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. This view over the Dubai Marina is one of my favourite with the cluster of buildings always reflecting the sun and the sea in different light and colour. I've taken this shot many times, both night and day and it always looks different. This day I saw a bunch of birds sitting on the beach, and when my two girls got close they got scared and flew up. I was going to take a picture of the birds, but they positioned themselves so
