Artist's Description
This is my friend Basil whom I met at my local pub in Berkshire, England. Basil is a keen clay pigeon shooter and he agreed for me to photograph him in his shooting attire. When photographing people, I find that using suitable ‘props’ usually adds to the composition and in this case, Basil brought his own shotgun, trench coat and home made leather hat. Originally photographed in colour, I converted the image to black and white in Photoshop using the Silver Effex plugin.
