This photo was captured on the shortest day of the past year (i.e., December 21, 2019), at Cavo Greco in Cyprus. The sea-caves of this area are a small miracle of nature, and have great geological and environmental value. Throughout many centuries, waves have been carving the solid rocks to form a stunning cluster of caves and a semi-circular bay. The local name of the caves is “palatia”, meaning palaces.
