This image is a composite of multiple photos taken from 2:00-4:00 am on December 14, 2018 at Horseshoe Bend, Arizona, USA. This was a particularly special night because the best meteor shower of the year and the brightest comet of the year both occurred simultaneously.
You can see the tails of the Geminid meteor shower in the night sky as well as a small, green star, which is the 46P/Wirtanen comet.
