Artist's Description

On October 6, 2016, Hurricane Matthew began skirted the coast of the eastern seaboard the United States. It first hit landfall in Cuba on the 6th and Florida on the 7th, then started it's path northward. My wife and I prepared our home on the Southern Outer banks for what could potentially be a vary damaging storm. On the 8th it took a welcomed change in direction and headed out to sea. We were spared. The eye passing just 40 miles off from our coastal home, I decided to grab my gear and
