The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Every year in a local cemetery the Cedar Waxwings finish of the berries from the trees in the fall. They arrive in flocks and feed for long periods. This gesture looks like an offering and a shy response to me. I have it printed on canvas 1.5 meters high in the master bedroom.
