During my last stay (april 2016) at the coast I wonderd and tried to make pictures away from the classic/cliché ones. I made a series called " The coast .. otherwise". This is one of the pictures of this series where I used VCM ( Voluntary camera movement) to catch the usual incoming of sailboats into the harbour ( Nieuwpoort / BE) . As the sea was calm and smooth I called it "The calm" , One who lives by a port will recognise this event when sailboats come in at the rythm o
