Longs Peak is the highest peak and the only 14er in Rocky Mountain National Park. Because of its location and elevation it was elected as the landmark of Colorado and printed on one side of Colorado quarter.
To take this picture, we started hiking at 2 am and arrived at the shooting location one hour later. It was cold but beautiful night. The most wonderful part of that night was not watching the Milky Way shifting from left side of Longs Peak to the right side, but witnessing a few shooting s
