Artist's Description

This image was taken in February this year on my first trip to Lofoten, one of the most beautiful places I have been. This is a commonly photographed area, in particular Reine Harbor. The sun angle was very low, shadows long, and the light was perfect...for the fleeting moments we had it between gales. This image is my interpretation of this cold, dark, isolated and beautiful place.
