Lions (panthera leo) fighting for food after a buffalo kill in Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana, July 2008

Moremi Game Reserve rests on the eastern side of the beautiful Okavango Delta. We followed this hungry pride of lions for a couple of days. During our last night in the game park the pride started to follow a big group of buffalos and made the kill early the next morning. We were extremely lucky.
