The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A triptych of body-painted figures is depicted against a dark background, representing the "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" motif. In each panel, the individual's hands cover a different sense organ: the eyes, ears, and mouth, respectively, highlighting the traditional call for moral avoidance. The paintwork on their skin mimics a patchwork of colored shapes, lending a stylized and artistic quality to the image.
