Shiprock Under The Night Sky
Rising 1583 feet (482 meters) above the desert plain, the iconic Shiprock of New Mexico oversees the land of Navajo Nation for 27 million years. The rock formation is essentially the erosional remnant of the throat of an ancient volcano.
