Artist's Description

This is my favorite Denali picture that I have ever captured. The weather was superb and even though the wind was howling at probably close to 50 miles per hour (see the top of the peak) I was able to climb up the opposing ridge and then was able to see and photograph the mountain as climbers see it. I found a sheltered spot out of the gale to capture this image. Alaska.
